Who/What Are You Celebrating Today?

Elizabeth Cady Stanton Day

Happy Friday! Who/what are you celebrating today?

I'm celebrating the fact that last week ended on a high note with my celebration of Matthew Martin Ward. Did you see it? Of course, it is available on demand on #RichardSkipperCelebrates on YouTube.

It is #ChickenSoupfortheSoulDay

Taking its name from the inspirational book series Chicken Soup for the Soul, this holiday is about reflecting on and celebrating where you've been and where you are headed.

According to multiple online sources, the publisher of the book series, Chicken Soup for the Soul Publishing, has said the day is "...a celebration of who you are, where you've been, where you're going, and who you will be thankful to when you get there!"

That's the theme of my series!

I'm celebrating Glen Charlow always being there for me in a pinch for me when I need him. THANK YOU, Glen!

AND, I'm celebrating Al Hirschfeld Foundation and David Leopold Today at 3PM on Richard Skipper Celebrates on YouTube #JoinTheCelebration

With a new season of the arts finally happening and audiences back in theaters, concert halls and museums, we will be exploring how Al Hirschfeld viewed a new season. What did he draw, and what does it tell us about that season? For more than sixty years, Hirschfeld showed us the people and the productions we should look for as the season unfolded.

JOIN THE CELEBRATION today even more by LIKING this post, COMMENTING, and SHARING! It's all about engagement. Today, please commit to supporting your fellow artists by doing the same thing with their posts and HIDING the negative posts. Together, we can make this a better world. Please pay it forward...

Don't forget to Join in the Celebration on YouTube (if you haven't done so already).Go to YouTube to sign up. Now, what can I do for YOU today?
